Saddle

Ķeblis.
A saddle-shaped seat in solid oak.
The silhouette is simple. The surface is not.
We sculpt the board by hand, following the grain and drawing away the softer fibres until the harder structure stands proud. The surface rises and falls beneath the hand: grain, relief, landscape.
The saddle gives it purpose. The wood gives it character.
No two boards respond the same way, so no two stools are alike. Yours is made once.
Material: solid oak
Form: saddle stool
Surface: hand-sculpted, revealed grain
